Les commentaires et les suggestions sont les bienvenus. Bien que nous ne soyons pas en mesure de répondre individuellement à tous les messages reçus par Twitter, les @réponses et messages directs seront lus. Ceux-ci seront traités au cas par cas et nous y répondrons lorsque nous le jugerons approprié.

This role will report to the Director, Corporate Environmental Protection for the effective implementation of Environmental Protection at the Whiteshell site. The Manager is responsible for the day-to-day and long-term operations of the Environmental Management Branch, which includes Environmental Protection (EnvP), the Sample Management Office (SMO) and conducting/managing on-site and off- site analytical services in support of decommissioning the WL Site. The Manager is responsible for the efficient operation of the Environmental portion of both Compliance and Project work at the WL Site.

May 10, CNL and Professional Engineers of Ontario (PEO) - Algonquin Chapter are hosting a #BridgeBusting event for local youth as a part of our #ScienceExplorationWeek activities.
This will be a hands-on bridge building activity where students aged 8+ will learn key engineering and #STEM concepts.

One of our key missions is to restore and protect the environment. One of our current projects includes groundwater and soil sampling at a legacy work site that will be restored. The site has a long history of use beginning in 1944, the most notable being that it was part of the work camp where workers who built many of the original facilities at CRL lived from 1944 to 1950. Later, it was used as a landfill from approximately 1960 to 1972. After the landfill closed, the area was covered with fill material and used for the storage of electrical equipment and road salt until early 2010.
Following industry best practices, our Decommissioning and Environmental Remediation team drilled 16 boreholes and collected 70 soil samples to assess the soil quality at the site. Using a low-flow sampling methodology, a peristaltic pump collected groundwater samples at a rate of 100-200 mL/minute from eight monitoring wells.
