Signage damaged at the Chalk River Laboratories

The following information bulletin is in accordance with Canadian Nuclear Laboratories’ (CNL) ongoing commitment to voluntary public disclosure of events related to the Chalk River Laboratories.

(2018 June 07) CNL employees performing general maintenance on signage at the entrance to the Chalk River Laboratories noticed that the signage was damaged. The damage appears to be related to off-site actions and has been reported to the Ontario Provincial Police for further investigation.

CNL confirms that there is no threat to workers, the public, the environment or nuclear safety related to this event.
