Let’s discover science at CNL’s Science Summer Camps!

At CNL, we always explore new ways to ignite the younger generation’s interest in science. We promote science learning and take fun experiments into classrooms all over Canada. Still, there’s nothing like experiencing practical science firsthand, which is why we are excited for the return of CNL’s super “Science Summer Camp.” For two weeks this July, our Chalk River Laboratories will be buzzing with aspiring young scientists who will learn cool things about science from some of Canada’s leading researchers—and your kids can be one of them!

Last year’s Science Camp was a resounding success, and we are looking forward to an even better camp experience this year as we continue our partnership with the Town of Petawawa and the Town of Deep River.

As part of CNL’s commitment to promote science learning, we facilitate education programs like the science camp to inspire the next generation to explore the wealth of opportunities available through the different fields of science. CNL’s broad work scope shapes the camp programming, making us the best suited to put together a fantastic science camp experience.

These camps are made possible through our partner communities and the efforts of CNL staff and researchers who enthusiastically volunteer their time and effort to show the kids how important and remarkable science is. We are glad to have their support again for the 2024 Summer Camps.

Science Camp will be offered for two weeks during the summer of 2024 for kids ages 9 -12. Registration is coordinated through our partner communities and will be open in the next few weeks. Please see the registration information below:
