What even is nuclear? What is happening in a nuclear reaction? Why does nuclear matter? Isn’t it old?

Larkin is currently working on her PhD in Public Policy – Creating Meaningful Engagement – Understanding the role of values and risk in nuclear acceptance. She is an advocate for all science especially nuclear and hopes that by discussing how nuclear works and the pros and cons of it the public can gain a better understanding of the science and reduce the stigma.
