CNL is reducing onsite operations at its Ontario sites

In response to the province of Ontario’s new COVID-19 restrictions, CNL is reducing operations at its Ontario facilities for a period of up to one month.

CNL will only continue site work necessary to keep our sites safe, be compliant with regulations, and delivering mission critical activities.

As part of this response, CNL will be increasing the number of staff working remotely.

To ensure a controlled approach to this reduction, preparations are underway in consultation with employees, unions, AECL, and the CNSC.

During this period, CNL’s Crisis Management Team will continue to monitor provincial requirements and the risks related to COVID-19.  CNL will increase onsite operations, only when safe to do so.

As a matter of personal and public safety, we remind all to follow the direction of public health officials, including maintaining physical distancing, frequent hand washing, face coverings, and other directives as they evolve.

We encourage our personnel to be vaccinated when eligible and to monitor the regional health authorities and government guidance related to COVID-19.

Stay safe everyone.
