Community Investment & Event Sponsorship

Community Investment & Event Sponsorship

CNL is committed to developing and maintaining long-term relationships with all of our current and future partners, supporters and neighbours. Only through the strong support of our varied communities will we progress towards our vision to become a modern, vibrant and sustainable national nuclear laboratory.

As a corporation, CNL makes it a priority to build public awareness, understanding, and a supportive appreciation of CNL’s value and impact to Canadians. We actively seek opportunities to connect with the public, members of our local surrounding communities, and other communities of interest to engage and inform about our ongoing missions, projects and plans.

Requests for CNL’s support will be evaluated carefully to ensure alignment with CNL’s values, corporate objectives, and responsible stewardship of resources.

To ensure adequate time for evaluation, and to maximize the potential value of CNL’s support, a minimum of 45 calendar days advance notice is recommended.  If less lead time is provided, there is an increased risk that your request may go unanswered.

Please note that CNL is unable to support sporting events or teams, events which promote or endorse any political party or candidate (at any level), events which involve the sale of alcohol or drugs, or events which otherwise do not align with our Code of Conduct or Commitment to Diversity, Equity and Inclusion.

CNL’s community investment program is not able to support ‘for profit’ businesses, events or organizations.
