Further to the Bulletin released 2021 January 28 this follow-up bulletin is confirming that additional analyses have shown that there is no issue to report and levels of Cs-137 were normal in the final analyses.

Chalk River, ON – 2021 February 3 – On Tuesday, February 02, CNL Fire Services personnel responded to a vehicle incident on the Chalk River site premises.

During routine radiological monitoring in the NRU facility building, higher readings than expected were detected. As a result, response measures were implemented by CNL, including additional radiological monitoring in and around the vicinity of Building 150 (NRU).
