Q: I am having problems with the application site, who can I contact for technical support?

A: If you are experiencing technical difficulties with your application, please contact cnl.ca.

Q: If I apply after the deadline, will I still be considered?

A:  If additional resumes are requested, late applications can be accepted.

Q: How long will the student postings remain on the board?

A: The posting will remain on the job board until a successful candidate has been identified. 

Q: What is the salary range?

A: The range is dependent on the program and the number of semesters completed. 

Q: How many rounds of interviews are there?

A: There is one telephone interview. 

Q:  Can I bank time to take time off?

A: No, students are not permitted to bank time. 

Q:  Do I earn sick days?

A: No. 

Q:  Do I get statutory holidays off?

A: Yes. 

Q: Do I get vacation days?

A: Students earn 1 company floating holiday per term, but they do not earn vacation days. Students earn 4% of their salary which is paid to them on each pay. 

Q:  What are the hours that I will be working?

A:  Students will be working 37.5 hours per week. 

Q: Does CNL provide student housing?

A: No, but there are places in our community that only rent to students. CNL also offers relocation allowance to assist students. You are encouraged to check with the local community college housing (Algonquin College) or online housing opportunities – e.g.: Craiglist, Kijiji, etc… 

Q: Is there any transportation to the site or Deep River offices?

A: There is no CNL arranged transportation, but once here it is very easy to find a carpool to either site.
