CNEA Awards Annual Funding Grant To North Forge East Technology Exchange

Canadian National Energy Alliance (CNEA), a consortium of leading nuclear engineering and management firms that owns CNL (which operates AECL’s Whiteshell site), is pleased to announce that it has awarded $80,000 to the North Forge East (NFE) Technology Exchange, the third year in a row that CNEA has contributed the annual grant to the local non-profit organization.

CNL & federal partners cut ribbon on new radiation portal monitor facility

Led by the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA), with support from the Canadian Safety and Security Program at Defence Research and Development Canada (DRDC) and Atomic Energy of Canada Limited’s (AECL) Federal Nuclear Science and Technology Work Plan, the project is being carried out to enhance border security and efficiency at Canadian border crossings and ports of entry.
